Legal & privacy
Privacy Policy
Effective as of September 1, 2026
Prestige Peak Sales ("Prestige Peak", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to handling personal information responsibly and respectfully in the course of operating our business and providing customer and prospect reactivation, qualification, follow-up, and appointment-setting services.
This Privacy Policy describes the principles and practices we follow when personal information is entrusted to us. Details about specific information we may handle and privacy-request procedures are available on our separate Data & Privacy Requests page.
1. Our Privacy Responsibilities
Prestige Peak is responsible for personal information under its control. We use reasonable policies, safeguards, and internal practices appropriate to the nature of the information and the services being performed. We designate responsibility for privacy compliance and respond to privacy questions and concerns through the contact information below.
2. Our Role When Working for Clients
Prestige Peak often works with information provided by a client business so that we can perform agreed customer and prospect reactivation, follow-up, qualification, or appointment-setting services on that client's behalf. We use that information only for the agreed business purpose, subject to applicable law and the client's lawful instructions.
We do not sell or rent client customer and prospect databases, and we do not use one client's customer or prospect information to market unrelated services to those individuals unless separately authorized and legally permitted.
3. Consent and Lawful Authority
We seek to handle personal information with the knowledge and consent of the individual where consent is required, or under another authority permitted by applicable law. The form of consent may depend on the circumstances, the sensitivity of the information, the purpose involved, and the relationship between the individual, the client business, and Prestige Peak.
When a client instructs Prestige Peak to conduct outreach using client-provided records, the client is expected to have the lawful authority to provide those records and direct the intended use. Prestige Peak remains responsible for its own conduct and legal obligations.
4. Limiting Use and Disclosure
Personal information entrusted to Prestige Peak is used and disclosed only for the purposes for which it was provided, for closely related purposes a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances, or as otherwise authorized or required by law.
We may use service providers where reasonably necessary to operate our business or deliver agreed services. We limit access and disclosure to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose and expect service providers to handle information in accordance with applicable contractual and legal obligations.
5. Accuracy
We take reasonable steps to keep personal information used in our work as accurate and complete as necessary for the purpose for which it is being used. Because client-provided customer or prospect records may originate from a client's own systems, we may rely on the information and updates supplied by that client unless we have reason to believe the information is inaccurate.
6. Safeguards
Prestige Peak uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against risks such as unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, loss, or disposal. Safeguards are selected with regard to the sensitivity and circumstances of the information involved.
No electronic system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and this Policy does not make a promise of absolute security.
7. Retention and Secure Disposal
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it is being handled, meet legitimate business or contractual requirements, and satisfy applicable legal obligations. When information is no longer reasonably required, it may be securely deleted, destroyed, anonymized, or returned as appropriate to the circumstances and any applicable client agreement.
8. Service Providers and Processing Outside Canada
Some technology and service providers used in our operations may process or store information outside British Columbia or Canada. When information is processed in another jurisdiction, it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction. Prestige Peak takes reasonable steps to use service providers appropriate to the information and services involved.
9. Individual Rights and Privacy Requests
Subject to applicable law, individuals may have rights to request access to personal information under our control, request correction of inaccurate information, and withdraw consent where consent is the applicable legal basis, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.
Instructions for submitting access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests are provided on our Data & Privacy Requests page.
10. Canadian and British Columbia Privacy Law
Prestige Peak is based in British Columbia and serves businesses across Canada. We aim to handle personal information in accordance with British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) where it applies and with applicable federal Canadian privacy requirements, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) where it applies to the activity in question.
Our outreach activities are also intended to comply with other applicable Canadian requirements, including Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation and applicable CRTC telemarketing and National Do Not Call List rules. The law that applies can depend on the nature of the communication, the parties involved, and where the activity occurs.
11. Complaints and Questions
We take privacy concerns seriously. If you have a question or complaint about our privacy practices, contact us using the information below. We will review the concern and respond as required by applicable law.
If a privacy concern relates to information originally supplied by one of our clients, we may need to coordinate with that client to properly investigate or respond.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy as our services, practices, or legal obligations change. A revised Policy will identify the date on which the new version becomes effective.
